Provision and installation of new fencing for a toddler play area, including * Removal and appropriate disposal of existing wooden fencing and provision and installation of approximately 128m of new fencing, 2 pedestrian gates and 1 vehicle gate

Replacement fencing for a toddler play area. Including: • Removal and safe disposal of existing 60cm wooden fencing (pictures to be provided) • Provision and installation of approximately 128m of new fencing which meets ROSPA playground fencing requirements (ROSPA guidelines here: https://www.rospa.com/Play-Safety/Advice/Fencing) • 2 pedestrian gates which meet ROSPA playground gate guidelines (details here: https://www.rospa.com/Play-Safety/Advice/Gates) • 1 vehicle gate - meeting (or exceeding) minimum width requirements for emergency vehicle access. We will consider an option of a combi-gate for pedestrian and vehicles, and if so this should be clearly indicated and costed separately. At present, we are undecided on the material for this fencing, and would like to receive quotes for: • Bow top metal fencing (min/max 1m/1.2m high) • Roll top mesh fencing (min/max 1m/1.2m high) • Wooden fencing (min/max 1m/1.2m high) meeting ROSPA guidelines for playground fencing (for cost comparison purposes) Sections as follows: A - 14m B - 68m C - 35m D - 11m Any queries or questions should be directed to the Clerk via email: Clerk@wokinghamwithout-pc.gov.uk Due to coronavirus restrictions, the parish office is currently closed, so all correspondence should be via email. Expressions of interest by 10th July Costed quotes by 17th July Should be broken down to cover: • Removal and disposal costs • Cost of provision and installation by meter - separated into the four areas classified above (A, B, C, D) • Total cost for all sections A, B, C and D completed as a single project. • Cost of gates • Any additional costs (e.g. skips etc) Budget - no specific budget for this project has been agreed but will be reviewed and agreed by the council once costed bids have been received.
