Provision and delivery of the specialist consultant-led integrated sexual health service (ISHS) that local authorities are responsible for commissioning, including testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including HIV, the provision of HIV PrEP and provision of the full range of contraception services tailored to meet the needs of our population at all stages across the life course. A central aim of the service will be to reduce inequalities in sexual health outcomes, achieved by delivering services to the general population with a specific focus on those groups where the burden of sexual ill health is recognised to be greater. The service will support delivery against the five main national sexual health Public Health Outcomes Frameworks measures: • under 18 conceptions; • chlamydia detection rate; • new STIs diagnosis (excluding chlamydia in the under 25s); • prescribing of long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) excluding injections (females aged 15 to 44). • people presenting with HIV at a late stage of infection The service will also contribute to the ambitions of the Derby and Derbyshire Sexual Health Alliance and locally identified service outcomes
