Description
This Contract for the supply and installation of stock fencing, gates and associated works at six DCC owned coastal sites.\r \r Durham County Council is intending to appoint a single Contractor to carry out the works.\r \r The Coastal Grasslands Reconnected project is funded by the Species Survival Fund. The fund was developed by Defra and its Arm's-Length Bodies to tackle habitat loss and halt the decline of species abundance by 2030. The fund is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England and the Environment Agency\r \r Please note that should the Council be unsuccessful in obtaining all / some funding the Project/Contract may be modified accordingly, (unless an alternative funding source is identified). Progression of this procurement exercise and any award of this contract opportunity will be conditional on confirmation of sufficient funds being available and/or modification of the Project requirements.\r \r The expected start date for the proposed contract is 24 February 2025.\r The expected end date for the proposed contract is 30 April 2025.\r
