Description
Kew is looking to purchase a hand-held Structured Light Scanning setup in order to support the digitisation of the carpological collections. Kew's large Carpological collection consists of fruits, roots, tubers and other bulky plant parts that are unsuitable for mounting as standard herbarium material onto sheets. Due to the 3D nature of these collections, it is not possible to capture all the morphological features of these specimens through 2D imaging alone. Framework information : Mini Competition through APUC DPS for 3D Printers, 3D Scanners and Associated Equipment (LAB1023)
