Description
North East Lincolnshire Council (NELC) on behalf of the Greater Lincolnshire Local Economic Partnership (LEP) is delivering the Smart Energy, Greater Lincolnshire (SEGL) project. The SEGL programme aims to develop and deliver highly innovative energy efficiency, smart energy management, and renewable energy projects for public buildings. The upgraded public buildings will be used for demonstration and case studies. Our success will be measured by reduction in energy use and carbon dioxide emissions and by increased awareness of best practice across Greater Lincolnshire. NELC have received £5.4m (of a total programme value of £9.2m) of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government is the Managing Authority for European Regional Development Fund. Established by the European Union, the European Regional Development Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regeneration. ENGIE on behalf of their Partner, NELC is seeking suitably qualified contractors to deliver Energy Conservation Measures. The ECM works are to comprise design, install, test and commission of a complete BMS - (Building Management System)
