Description
The Environment Agency on behalf of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and Devolved Administrations is seeking to procure a service provider to provide data on the ambient levels of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) and the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) for the TOMPs Monitoring Network. The Toxic Organic Micro Pollutants (TOMPs) network is responsible for contributing to the monitoring of UK air quality by providing measurement of the air concentrations of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) at rural and urban locations in the UK. Monitoring work complements emission inventory work, whilst also providing information on the sources of POP releases into the environment. The Environment Agency is seeking to procure a service provider to provide data on the ambient levels of POPs and the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) for the TOMPs Monitoring Network from 1st January 2027.
