Description
Supply specialist broadband passive downhole seismic array The seismology team based at the British Geological survey uses seismic sensors to monitor small-scale strains and fracturing in the subsurface. The site at which the array will be deployed has a lot of surface noise, therefore, the sensors cannot be surface based. As the number of boreholes which can be drilled is limited by planning permission, a single borehole array is required and in order to achieve the monitoring aims, more than one sensor is required to be installed in the borehole, so it must be possible to include a string with multiple sensors. The single borehole will have a plastic casing with a 69mm internal diameter.
