Description
North Somerset Council appointed a supplier to undertake the Property Compliance Services contract. This contract includes Statutory and Periodic Maintenance, Testing, Inspection, Reporting and Management services to mechanical, electrical and building fabric installations for premises primarily within the North Somerset district area. The intention is to also offer the arrangement to other Public Sector bodies across the South West (please refer to the NUTS codes within OJEU advert 2016/S 096-172585 that we have selected for reference). The services required was broken down in to a number of modules which will relate to all mechanical, electrical and building fabric elements, which will be delivered under this one single contract. This framework arrangement will be a call off contract. The tender process to establish this framework was an Open Tender route, involving a one stage evaluation process where the Pre-Qualification element will be wrapped up within the ITT stage. The Council intends to use this arrangement for all of its non-school premises. It then intends to offer this arrangement to schools and academies within the district and other public sector bodies across the South West.
