Description
The London Borough of Hillingdon are conducting preliminary market engagement in advance of a future procurement and contract for a Borough wide routine and reactive Tree Maintenance Service on behalf of the London Borough of Hillingdon. The aim of this exercise is for the Council to gain a better understanding of how the supply market operates in relation to the provision of tree maintenance service and ascertain whether the proposed service requirements are viable. The exercise will help to inform the scope and processes for securing service delivery. This PME Notice is focused on the supply market and does not commit the Council to any further actions or involvement. This is not a call for competition, and the Council are not obliged to follow any advice or guidance provided by suppliers in this process. The services under the proposed contract include, but are not limited to: • Tree Pruning • Tree Felling • Young Tree Maintenance • Stump Grinding • Basal Growth • Climbing Tree Inspections • Emergency Works The initial contract term will be for three years with an option to extend for a further two years
