Item Description SCANNING MOBILITY PARTICLE SIZER with long DMA (10 to 1000 nm) and Advanced Aerosol Neutralizer (Soft Xray) The item being procured is an instrument to measure particle size distributions of aerosols in the nanometer range and the Soft Xray neutralizer essential for its operation. It must permit the measurement of both number concentration and complete size distribution of nanometer-sized particles in a minimum of 10 seconds. The instrument must be able to measure particles down to 2.5 nanometers. The detector within the particle size spectrometer must be a butanol based condensation particle counter with a lower sensitivity of 2.5 nm and proven 50% efficiency at that size. The spectrometer must include a choice of at least two DMA's that can be interchanged quickly. Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement.
