Gainsborough Library - Capital Roof Repairs

Repairs are to be carried out to all roof areas. The Westmoreland slate roofs are to have all the leadwork renewed, and slipped/ cracked slates re-fixed/ replaced. The flat roofs are to be recovered in single ply membrane, dressed up over parapets. Cover flashings are to be replaced to the flat roofs. Repairs are required to stonework on approx. 5nr windows, and two skylights are to be replaced. Cast iron rainwater components throughout are to be temporarily taken away from the building to be renovated/ recoated before being reinstated to their original positions, and temporary rainwater disposal is to be provided for the duration of the project.
