Description
Sheffield Hallam University has procured a Gamma SIP trunk service to provide inbound and outbound telephony across campus. The service connects the on premise Cisco PBX to the public telephone network and supports a range of critical functions, including emergency and safety lines (e.g. lifts and security phones), the Clearing contact centre and applicant enquiries, staff and departmental telephony, and networked service points such as helpdesks. Reliable telephony is essential to student recruitment, operational continuity, and campus safety. The contract was awarded via the YPO Network Connectivity and Telephony framework (Lot 6).
