Description
Hull City Council has appointed Bartec Municipal Technologies Limited through the Crown Commercial Services Framework G-Cloud 13 via Direct Award. The services are as follows: To provide waste management software platform that is compatible with existing in-cab devices. The software allows collection team to record feedback events relating to the collection or more commonly the non-collection of refuse bins and Bulky items on both domestic and commercial waste services and this data is imperative in ensuring information is available to the service management, Call centre, CRM and the website via Collectives API suite. The In cab units also inform the collection teams of up to date and vital health and safety information such as streets where reversing manoeuvres should be considered, inform the collection teams of properties with previously violent and / or aggressive incidents reported against them and the ability to report violent and aggressive incidents effectively to their supervisor. The GPS tracking element of the units has enabled the service to accurately model a number of service delivery options and implement efficient collection routes whilst also giving valuable business intelligence in the monitoring of collection team performance.
