Description
BCFT aims to provide high-quality services that help to safeguard, support, and promote the welfare of children and families across the Bradford District. This includes providing specialist services for parents who have had children removed from their care, offering intensive, trauma-informed support for women, helping them navigate the challenges of parenting and loss, supporting them to build resilience, improve life chances and break intergenerational harm and cycles. There is a current contract held by BCFT for delivery of the Pause programme which will expire on 31st Aug 2026. The outcomes for women and children, through the delivery of this model in Bradford, have been consistently positive, providing confidence in this approach. We are planning to continue to deliver the Pause model in the Bradford district and would also like to consider wider support for parents who have had children removed from their care. BCFT wishes to invite potential providers to attend a market engagement event to help inform the development of this provision. The event will aim to share our proposed service model and key priorities. Feedback from the market engagement event may be incorporated into the specification. Please see the meeting details below: Date/Time: Friday 13th February 2026, 10 am-11.00 am Location: Microsoft Team. To register for this event, please email: ChildrensCommissioning@bradford.gov.uk by 12th February 2026 using the title Market Engagement Event – Provision of Preventing recurrent care proceedings in the subject matter. Please note we do not allow AI bots into our events. It should be noted that the estimated contract value stated in the advert covers the full potential duration of seven years, which includes the initial term of 21 months plus two possible extension periods of up to 21 months each (subject to approval).
