Description
The works comprise the alteration and general refurbishment of six of the existing toilet areas within County Hall. The works will comprise a full refurbishment of all such spaces to include new wall, floor and ceiling finishes, new entrance doors, new sanitaryware, new cubicles and IPS panel system components, replacement LED lighting, and full replacement of all waste and hot / cold water service pipework connected back to the main service risers. The principal SVP pipe within the newer part of the building is also to be replaced. The works will need to be completed in a phased manner where no more than two of the toilet areas will be out of service at any one time to ensure that there are sufficient alternative facilities available within the building for Council staff to use as the works progress. The scope of the project will alter the layout of the separate rooms and reduce the current overall number of male facilities and increase the number of female facilities to better align with the needs of the Councils current workforce.
