The Contractor shall be responsible for providing and maintaining suitable protection to the lift equipment, lift car, car and landing entrances until practical completion of the project. The Contractors tender price shall allow for the maintenance of the lift until completion of the 12 months warranty period which shall stat on completion of the last lift to be completed. Where possible all components shall be assembled off site prior to the installation works commencing. The programme as stated in the schedules shall be considered to be the Contract period and Contractor is to fix his price for the duration of the works. Due to the nature of the works the successful Contractor is required to keep his Contract period to an absolute minimum without reducing quality, safety or performance. The tenders will be analysed not only on price and equipment but also on programme
