Description
Previous work in the Butlin group within the University of Sheffield has produced a draft genome assembly for the focal species (the marine snail Littorina saxatilis) and re-sequencing has identified regions of the genome involved in adaptive differentiation between ecotypes. The current project aims to genotype a large sample of individuals for markers in these differentiated regions and in control regions in order to further understand the operation of natural selection in this system. This tender is funded by the ERC
