Call - Off Contract from FW - Construction - Civil Works - Multi-Site 0726. Cable civils to install AC Underground Cable (UGC), including a fibre optic connection, from a new Substation near Finstown on the mainland of Orkney to the land / subsea transition joint at Warebeth on Orkney (approximate length 13.5km), and from the subsea / land transition joint at Dounreay, Caithness, to the proposed new Dounreay West Substation near the existing 275/132kV substation (approximate length 1km). The Contractor also designs and installs 2No. Landfall HDDs at both Warebeth on Orkney (approximate length 1200m) and Dounreay (approximate length 840m), including associated works.
