Description

Access track improvements including installation of drainage to be completed by the end of September 2026. Location: Rodney Stoke, Mendip, Somerset ● Excavate a trench down the centre of the track and install 300mm perforated pipe. ● Install spurs at 10 metre intervals at 45 degrees to catch run off on track. ● Connect into existing ditch at the bottom of stone track ● Backfill central trench with clean drainage stone ● Resurface the track either side of the trench to be durable to take agricultural machinery (specific material in tender response); spurs should be concrete lined or similar to enable easy maintenance.
