T953 CSEE Data Science Laboratory Refurbishment

The University of Essex is seeking tenders for a laboratory refurbishment project to increase the occupancy of an existing Lab to 95 desk positions, with a total occupancy of 100. The refurbishment will include demolition works by removing a wall and internal office, all existing flooring and entrance doors. Installation of M+E is required, which will include ceiling fixed mechanical ventilation, air-conditioning, new lights, fire alarm alterations, new power sockets and additional data installation. Also builders works associated with M+E, scaffolding, glazing alterations, new FD30 door sets and some external ground works to house the AC. Finishing off with decoration and new carpet flooring installation.
