Description
Research Context Each year as part of the Heritage Counts publication,we publish key socio-economic indicators which demonstrate the scale, scope and value of heritage. The data are collected from numerous sources and presented in Excelspreadsheets on the Heritage Counts website. In addition to these collated indicators, last year we commissioned research to produce our Heritage Economic Impact Indicators Workbook 2016.This workbook presents new data using standard statistical data sources to estimate the economic value of heritage including heritage employment,GVA and tourism and construction sector impacts. The information provided in the workbook is extremely useful in presenting the case for heritage. We are now looking to commission consultants to update the Heritage Economic Impact Indicators Workbook for 2017,incorporating the latest statistical releases and estimates from the past year.
