Description
The Council is inviting tenders for the provision of the Derbyshire Integrated Sexual Health Service (DISHS). The current integrated sexual health service delivers through a lead provider model working with multiple organisations including the acute sector, general practice, pharmacy and voluntary sector. The lead provider manages and oversees the service and works as a Primary Contractor sub-contracting elements of service across organisations. Derbyshire County Council seek to maintain this current service model as the best way to respond to rural geography, good sexual health in Derbyshire compared to England but with inequalities across some population groups. The contract is for five years from 1st April 2019 with an option to extend the contract for two further periods of two years. There will be a gain to share approach for efficiencies made throughout the life of the contract which will form part of the negotiations. An open book approach will form part of the contract.
