Description
This procurement is to source a supplier to cover responsive repairs and property refurbishment, manage a regeneration programme of capital investment works, compliance services and grounds maintenance to Service Family Accommodation throughout the UK owned and managed by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation. The Authority is keen to engage with providers with a solid background in delivering similar repairs and maintenance contracts for public sector landlords with a strong customer and safety focus, who are able to work collaboratively with the Authority to deliver a first in class service. The Contracting Authority is undertaking preliminary market engagement in accordance with section 16 of the Procurement Act 2023. The purpose of the engagement is to inform the development of the Authority’s requirements, its procurement strategy and future tender documentation. This notice is published under section 17 of the Act and Regulation 17 of the Procurement Regulations 2024. The engagement will be conducted by way of an on-line briefing session expected to be held on 15 July 2026 to all providers who respond to this PME Notice and are interested in participating. The briefing will be followed by issuing an on-line questionnaire for providers to complete and return. The Authority may contact providers who submit a completed questionnaire should it be necessary to clarify their response or raise any questions arising in order to ensure a fulsome exercise can be conducted. The objectives of the exercise are to analyse the responses from the market, take their views into account when designing the procurement strategy and ensure that any barriers to suppliers intending to bid for the works and services are removed.
