Description
Notice Comments: THIS IS A RETROSPECTIVE CONTRACT AWARD NOTICE Due to registration issues with the Central Digital Platform (Find a Tender Service) at point of award in February 2026 a compliant contract award notice was posted on Contracts Finder rather than the Central Digital Platform in accordance with Regulation 5 of the Procurement Regulations 2024. The notice published on Contract Finder served as a published publicly accessible Contract Award Notice in compliance with the Procurement Act 2023, and marked the start of the mandatory eight-day standstill period, which ended on the 13th March 2026. Assessment summaries were sent to bidding suppliers on the 26th February 2026. This notice is being posted retrospectively now registration issues have been resolved and to enable the publication of future notices relating to the Framework contracts. The Framework: The Met Office Academic Partnership (MOAP) is an established strategic partnership bringing together leading UK universities and the Met Office creating a network of research excellence, working together to advance weather and climate science, technology and skill. The MOAP Science Delivery Framework (SDF) is the commercial mechanism for the Met Office to secure the external scientific expertise and resource needed to help deliver research and innovation priorities.
