Description
CPI have identified a requirement for an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) at our Printable Electronics (PE) facility based in Sedgefield, County Durham. The system we propose is likely to be a three phase diesel generator with a UPS acting as a buffer. The winning vendor needs to ensure that continous power supply is provided to the building with a seamless changeover in the event of mains power failure. PE is a standalone facility with its own substation located in NET Park, Sedgefield. Unfortunately due to the amount of redevelopment works in this location full power outages and Brownouts are common occurrence. CPI require the winning vendor to design, supply and install an uninterruptable power supply with sufficient capacity to provide the PE facility with electrical power in the event of mains power failure and brownouts (voltage drops in mains supply). Please be aware we require your bid to include methodology and pricing for two options: UPS only and UPS with back-up generator. The vendor will need to provide onsite training to both CPI's facilities management team and CPI's own staff covering operation, safety, and routine maintenance. Ongoing support and annual service packages should also be detailed in your bid.
