Description
The survey will cover the 16 water companies in England and is scheduled for completion by 29 July 2016. Each of the water companies is different but they broadly fall into two categories. Key Tasks We expect that responses to the ITT will consider based on their experience how the objectives may best be delivered. Inevitably there are interactions with other aspects of our analysis and the responses we get to the call for evidence and others’ research. The draft terms of reference for the overall project that has been issued by Ofwat for comment, the call for evidence issued to stakeholders and the initial list of potential market models and scenarios will be available on Ofwat’s website and should be considered with this ITT documentation to allow respondents to consider the wider project context. Key Outputs and Deliverables The Provider is required to deliver the following Key outputs: • agreed research programmes • updates and interaction with evidence to inform research design • presentation material • reports on draft and final findings. Key Knowledge, Skills and Experience • Awareness and experience of household customer issues in the water sector. • Knowledge of the issues customers face in terms of choice and the introduction of competitive markets in utilities. • Experience in designing, implementing and analysing deliberative and quantitative customer research. • Ability to translate economic and market concepts into language that customers can engage with. • Flexibility to adapt the project programme to reflect emerging evidence and priorities.
