Overcoming Barriers to Management

To conduct a farmer-led Environmental Land Management (ELM) trial across England, to explore and test ways to overcome barriers to positive management of small woodlands on farms and the wider landscape, both rural and peri-urban, and increase realisation of their environmental potential. This will test advice provision, land management planning approaches, collaboration scenarios and incentives to encourage behaviour change, across seven regions of England and with a range of stakeholders.
