Description

The provision of a managed service to secure a property where it has been necessary for the Police to force entry or where a property has been found in an unsecured state. The Police have a legal obligation to secure property where forced entry has been made by the Police and where the property owner or occupier is not on the scene. The Police may also have a duty of care depending on circumstances to secure a property that is insecure, for example, where damage is a result of criminal damage or burglary and where the property owner or occupier is not on the scene. The individual Force call off contracts will be awarded using the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) Framework 'National Emergency Boarding Up Services', Coupa Ref Number 1243b. This is a demand led contract.
