Description

Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority (MWDA) wishes to undertake the restoration of its Foul Lane closed landfill site. To complete this, MWDA seeks a suitably qualified and experienced restoration contractor to restore the site in accordance with the attached documents. MWDA will licence, through a procurement exercise, the Foul Lane site as a deposition point for suitable waste soils. The successful Contractor will provide MWDA with a Licence Fee for the deposition of the waste soils at the site. The successful contractor will be required to procure, in MWDA’s favour, a bond in the event the Contractor is unable to complete the works as set out in the Licence. It will be the Contractor’s responsibility to satisfy any and all environmental permitting requirements associated with the site works. Interested parties should review the attached documents and return their tenders in accordance with the Instructions for Tendering by 16.00 Thursday 22nd September 2016. Any amendments to the documentation during the tender period will be posted on the Authority’s website.
