CR20049 Commissioning external analysis of responses to UKRI's Open Access consultation

***THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION**** This contract has been awarded against Crown Commercial Services Research Marketplace DPS, RM6018. The purpose of this commission is to read and analyse of all the responses to the UKRI OA Review public consultation and report the outcomes to UKRI. The consultation is a key input to UKRI's OA Review. It enables any stakeholder to comment on UKRI's proposed OA policy and other actions it could take to promote OA to research findings. The outcomes of the consultation, and specifically the analysis from this commission, will be used by UKRI to inform decisions about its OA policy and supporting actions. The outcomes will also inform the UK HE funding bodies' considerations in developing the OA policy for the REF-after-REF 2021. The outcomes will also be shared with other government departments and agencies UKRI engages with on OA. UKRI intends to publish all or parts of the consultation analysis for transparency and expects strong interest from stakeholders in the results.
