Description

Innovate UK - Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme helps businesses in the UK to innovate and grow by linking them with an academic or research organisation and a graduate. KTP currently uses a legacy platform comprising a portal, database and some bespoke tools: Access UI. Oxinet hosts Portal and DB. Storing and managing data within Oxinet servers raises significant GDPR compliance risks. This project is a part of the initiative to decommission Oxinet by the end of August 2024. It aims to build the features to support KTP business processes and operations using the BS&I funding and Data platforms. The project has now been extended and is due to be delivered by end of August 2024. The requirement is to identify a supplier who can support us with the Business Analysis for the KTP portal and database replacement project. The supplier shall: •Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product owners, change partners, business analysts, developers, and designers, to understand and document business needs. •Conduct a thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows to ascertain where new/revised business processes are required. •Map out the new/revised business processes the various user groups support. •Develop and maintain detailed documentation, such as business requirements, user stories, process flows, and use cases. •Organise and structure complex technical information into understandable formats for various target audiences. •Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders. •Support project team during low-level analysis phases and delivery planning. •Prioritise/refine product backlog as and when required, ensuring user stories and requirements are adequately prepared and prioritised for development. •Write thorough UAT scripts to validate the solution against the business outcomes. •Coordinate and conduct UAT with business users to obtain sign-off on the solution against the business requirements. •Work on developing a training plan and rolling out training to the various user groups.
