Description
We are seeking suitable contractors to provide a single Support Contract, to providers who are delivering the Communities Driving Change Programme (CDC) across Tower Hamlets. This contract will ensure that we continue to work towards a consistent and quality approach across the programme and that a systems response is enabled at scale. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an extensive and long term complex community intervention across a whole Borough. CDC Programme The London Borough of Tower Hamlets' Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2017-2020 has identified 'communities driving change' as one of its five priorities. In October 2017 the Council commissioned the Tower Hamlets Communities Driving Change Programme (CDC) in order to improve population health and wellbeing and reduce local health inequalities. The CDC Programme has been procured in four locality-based lots, and in their first year delivered on the identification of 3 natural neighbourhoods each, co-production of priority issues to address through the Programme, production of an action plan and early delivery against this. This includes identifying issues impacting on health and wellbeing that matter to local people; recruiting other residents who have the energy and passion to make a difference; and developing and leading new ways to improve health and wellbeing locally. A support contract was commissioned for the first year to ensure a consistent approach across the four lots. We would welcome consortia bids. Return of tenders deadline is 12th November 2018 Contract Duration: 2 years Extensions: +1 year +1 year Estimated Contract Value (including extensions): £200,000 A supplier briefing meeting will be held on: 16th October 2018 time, between 9am to 10am at Mulberry Place, 5 Clove Crescent, London E14 2BG. Please email kurat.chuhan@towerhamlets.gov.uk to express you interest in attending the supplier briefing and confirm you will be attending by 15th October 2018.
