Description
The Council wishes to establish a Contract for the provision of Practical volunteer days with skill sharing and training within the Community Skills project. This is a Contract for services. The Contractor will provide volunteering and training opportunities, linked to the care and management of the landscape and natural environment, to help deliver the Bathscape vision, with a particular focus on skills development in disadvantaged communities and communities of need. The Contractor will deliver, in partnership with other Bathscape projects, community events and taster sessions in south west Bath and with priority groups, defined by the Bathscape core team. The Contractor will establish a regular volunteer work party for practical conservation, on their own and other land, and work closely with Conserving and Restoring Project Contractors on habitat restoration. The Contractor will provide tailored and flexible training opportunities and programmes for people from target groups, those with additional needs and those currently distant from work or education.
