Description
The University of Warwick Institute for Employment Research has a research requirement for the collection of information from members of the general public about their attitudes regarding the use of personal data for social and economic research that is undertaken in the public interest. The information so obtained will: o assist the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) in developing future population surveys; o assist the ESRC in the exploitation of administrative data for research purposes: o be used to assist with the development of questions to be placed on a national survey of attitudes to data access and linkage. The information to be collected will focus on public attitudes to linking non-consented administrative data as in the case of data linkage between administrative data (e.g. social security data, educational records, tax records, etc.) and longitudinal survey data, whereby the later are consented data.
