Description
The University is inviting tenders on the terms set out in this ITT for re-modelling of Edward Roberts Court, a central and prominent two tiered courtyard which provides an accessible link between North and South Campus. The strategic brief is to improve the commercial offer of Edward Roberts Court, whilst enhancing student experience. This will be achieved by creating a 'destination' raising the profile and identity of the courtyard through re-modelling and refurbishment of the existing area. The works include the improvement of accessible routes through the space, renewal of paving, soft landscaping works and improvements to drainage across the site. The design of the court will also incorporate a new amphitheatre style tiered seating area alongside the soft landscaping to provide a space to sit and meet. The location of the site is Bailrigg Campus, Lancaster, LA1 4YW. This tender is not lotted. One contractor will be awarded the full package of work. The University will host an accompanied site visit on Thursday 28th March 2019 commencing 11.00am.
