Description
This is a market engagement notice related to General Building Construction & Maintenance Framework to inform interested suppliers of the Framework opportunity. Cardiff County Council are proposing the establishment of a collaborative multi lot framework agreement to deliver general building construction & maintenance, and repair works to the non-domestic property portfolios across 2 authorities. The framework is to be delivered under geographically defined lots on behalf of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The framework will cover multiple disciplines to include; Lot 1 (Cardiff) – Statutory Obligations Lot 2 (Cardiff) – Electrical & Mechanical Lot 3 (Cardiff) – General Building Works (up to £300k) Lot 4 (Cardiff) – General Building Works (£300k-£850k) Lot 5 (Cardiff) – External Works Lot 6 (Cardiff) – Fire & Security Lot 7 (Cardiff) – Roofing Works Lot 8 (Cardiff) – Emergency Call Outs Lot 9 (Vale) – Electrical Lot 10 (Vale) – General Building Works (up to £300k) Lot 11 (Vale) – General Building Works (£300k-£850k) Lot 12 (Vale) – External Works Lot 13 (Vale) – Fire & Security Lot 14 (Vale) – Roofing Lot 15 (Vale) – Emergency Call Outs Lot 16 (Vale) – Mechanical It is anticipated that the framework start date will be 1st April 2027 (please note this date may be subject to changes) for a period of 3 years with a further 1 year extension (A maximum total of 4 years). The anticipated value of the overall framework is circa £132 million over the full 4 year term. The tender for this framework will be run via Proactis, alongside all information to be released before tender issue.
