Description
Liverpool City Council has awarded a contract for the delivery of a service to strengthen early identification and support for children with speech, language and communication needs. The service will operate at both universal and targeted levels across the early years sector, including early education and childcare providers, health visitors, children's centres, and family hubs. Key elements of the service include: - High-quality delivery of the WELLCOMM screening tool and associated interventions. - Collection and analysis of data from WELLCOMM implementation to inform future strategy and commissioning. - Leadership in the development and launch of a co-produced, city-wide integrated speech, language and communication pathway.
