Corporate Gas Maintenance Safety-Service Checks

Currently the Council does not have a gas safety/service maintenance contract in place for the boilers across the borough and at present procure the services on an ad-hoc basis. To enable us to realise cost and service efficiencies Facilities Management are offering an opportunity to bid for a contract to cover this service. The works shall consist of the annual gas safety/service maintenance checks on gas appliances in premises owned by the Council. Combined with this will be call-outs and out of hours call-outs. This contract is to run for a minimum of one year (subject to satisfactory workmanship), with the option for two further one-year extensions, in essence a maximum three-year contract.
