PMS Commissioning Intentions

Forty (40) Contracts have been awarded for the provision of Personal Medical Services (PMS) Commissioning Intentions services in West London boroughs. The aim is to provide services to patients registered with West London GP practices. The term of the contract is from 1st July 2022 for 3 years with the option to extend by a further 2 year period. The estimated total annual budget of all the contracts is £29,658,090. NHS NW London is required to reinvest monies released from the PMS review under the national terms and requirements of the PMS review and these monies are furthermore required to be invested into GP practices within the borough from which the monies have been released. Led by its Primary care clinicians, the ICB has developed a range of commissioning Intentions to utilise this funding, the subsequent increased activity in primary care will realise reductions in hospital activity and improve patient satisfaction and care.
