Description

Flintshire County Council (“the Authority”) is seeking to engage with the market in advance of a potential procurement exercise for the provision of a kerbside clinical waste collection service, which would require the successful provider to take delivery of, or collect clinical waste from, a designated Authority site. The proposed service may include the collection from designated storage area, transportation, treatment, and lawful disposal of clinical and offensive waste generated from residential properties within the Authority’s area. The Authority wishes to understand supplier capabilities, market capacity, innovation opportunities, environmental considerations, and potential delivery models to help inform the future procurement strategy and service specification. Suppliers are invited to participate in pre-market engagement discussions and provide feedback regarding operational requirements, collection logistics including frequencies, methods and documentation, container solutions, digital tracking systems, carbon reduction initiatives and social value opportunities.
