Description

Animal & Plant Health Agency (APHA) adhere to ‘GxP’, which is the general term for Good (Anything...) Practice quality guidelines and regulations in relation to vaccines and pharmaceuticals; namely Good Distribution Practice, Good Laboratory Practice, Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Clinical Practice (Veterinary). APHA are seeking an independent Supplier to provide on-site based training services for a range of professional courses over a four year period (2017– 2021), with particular emphasis on design and delivery of scheduled quality courses. These are identified below: - Introduction to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Refresher in Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) for Test Facility Manager Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) for Study Directors and Principal Investigators Refresher in Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) for Archivists Refresher in Good Clinical Practice (Veterinary) (GCPv) Refresher in Good Distribution Practice (GDP) Introduction to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Refresher in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) The courses will be held at the employee’s classroom based training sites in the area of Surrey, York and Worcester England. The number of delegates will be circa 15 to 20 on each course. It is envisaged that face to face training will be the primary method of delivery. Initial preference is for an interactive workshop where participants are active in both discussion and practice of the technique/skills that are being explored. The inclusion of examples are also requested to make learning as ‘real life’ as possible. Our evaluation of training has shown our learners respond better to this blended approach. Whilst our preference would be to have one supplier that can meet all our requirements we also recognise that this may not be possible. Therefore, we have divided the specification into 10 lots.
