GB-Telford: Business Case Assurance - Towns Fund

Telford has been offered a Town Deal to a value of £22.3 million (subject to successfully completing Phase 2 of the Towns Fund Process) and in line with HM Treasury's Green Book, business cases are being developed for priority projects. Telford and Wrekin Council is seeking to appoint a lead consultant to develop and undertake independent assurance, appraisal and evaluation of each business case to ensure that: -The 5-case model has been applied to all projects. The assessment will require a review of the assumptions, methodology and approach taken in the development of all 5 cases within each of the four business cases -Each business case has been developed independently and all bias has been removed -All government policy and guidance relevant to the production of each business case has been adhered to
