Description
A call-off from the Generation 4-TWO 2020 - 2024 Civil Engineering, Highways and Transportation Collaborative Framework (Awarded April 2020). Widening the carriageway on the A32's southbound approach to Wych Lane signalised junction to accommodate a right-turn stacking lane for traffic turning right onto Wych lane. The works include: carriageway construction into the existing verge, removal and resurfacing of existing carriageway, footway construction within existing verge, installation of new pedestrian refuge islands, preparation works for the installation of new traffic signals, coordination of stats diversions and connections, removal of three trees, installation of revised road markings & studs and relocation of traffic signs to suit new alignment.
