Description
This contract was procured by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) on behalf of the Independent Commission into Adult Social Care (Casey Commission). The Supplier will deliver an extensive programme of public and workforce engagement as part of the Independent Commission into Adult Social Care's National Conversation. The engagement programme will comprise three key elements that will be delivered multiple times throughout the course of the programme: - Multi-modal engagement with 'maxi publics' incorporating as a minimum the use of a participatory digital platform and community engagement with groups who are seldom heard and / or marginalised. - The establishment of a standing group, broadly representative of England's population, to be convened at several points over the course of the programme in deliberative workshops ("mini publics"). - Engagement with those working in, or in partnership with, adult social care provision, using a range of methodologies to ensure workforce perspectives are included as part of the National Conversation. The overall engagement programme is expected to be delivered as a single, seamless and integrated model. A final report will be delivered at the conclusion of the programme, synthesising insights from all engagement activities, presenting overarching findings, and setting out the final outputs of the standing citizens' group, enabling the the Commission to develop recommendations that are grounded in, and carry the mandate of the public. The contract has been procured via a call-off competition under the GCA RM6126 Research & Insights DPS.
