Brief Description of Requirement The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS); Office for Product Safety and Standards is the appointed market surveillance authority, responsible for enforcing the Eco-design and Energy Labelling Regulations within the UK. Suppliers are strongly encouraged to read the text at the following link in order to gain a full understanding of the role of the enforcement services with Government: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/national-regulation-enforcement-services BEIS will carry out market surveillance to determine the current levels of compliance in the household washer-dryer sector within the UK, in line with Energy Labelling requirements. Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the RFx attachments tab within the Emptoris System. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
