Description
This commission forms part of a trio of workstreams that comprise workpackage 1, of the Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA) response to the bus review. In July 2020, the MCA adopted a set of principles distilled from the findings of the Bus Review to identify at a high level, the types of measures that need to be considered if we are to deliver meaningful improvement to our bus system. This commission is the Quality Analysis workstream, which will set out 'what better looks like' in terms of the quality and standards our customers should expect, from the region's bus service. The Quality Analysis will utilise customer insights, market segmentation and draw upon the outputs of the Route Analysis workstream, to develop a Universal Quality Standard and a prioritised list of quality improvements for the consideration of Leaders. The interventions, investment and powers required to improve the passenger experience must be clearly identified to inform decision making. This opportunity is advertised via the ProContract portal.
