Description
This procurement seeks to establish a national framework for the provision of Specialist PPE clothing and associated services. The Framework Arrangement will enable call off contracts to be established by Fire and Rescue Services, which includes other blue light services covered under the Civil Contingences Act 2004 level 1 and level 2 responders. This will also include Kent Search and Rescue (Lowlands) or similar voluntary charitable organisations and will cover the geographical area of the UK, Channel Islands and other Crown dependencies, to procure items either directly or via mini competition dependent on the lot structure. Hazardous Material Lot 1 Gas Tight Suits, Type 1a - ET Lot 2 Chemical Protection Suits (Combined Class 3 liquid and Class 4 Splash Tight) Lot 3 Chemical Protective Gloves Urban Search and Rescue Lot 4 Chainsaw Items Lot 5 Hot cutting Items Lot 6 Disaster Victim Identification Lot 7 Wildland Fire Fighting Ensemble Lot 8 Water Rescue Ensemble Lots 1-5, 7 and 8 will also include the provision of associated services including: cleaning, decontamination, repair, servicing and maintenance.
