Description
The Genomics Education Programme (GEP) develops a wide variety of awareness-raising, educational and training content for different groups of healthcare professionals and students - with different messages/pitches. The programme recognises the importance of multimedia and social media in making its content as engaging, accessible and clear as possible. Since its inception the programme has produced a number of online courses and educational materials including videos, animations, graphics and infographics. Examples can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/genomicseducation/ https://twitter.com/genomicsedu http://www.genomicseducation.hee.nhs.uk/resources https://www.genomicseducation.hee.nhs.uk/courses/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxOAr--09dfK3T3Bf7DLSA We also produce a range of materials to raise awareness of the GEP and its courses at conferences for healthcare professionals and educators, such as posters, flyers and postcards. Our increasing range of activity means that design assistance is regularly required, and there is a need to outsource this work. The GEP will commission design work on an ad hoc basis - sometimes, but rarely, at short notice. As much of our content is scientific in nature, reviews and iterations must be catered for. The GEP may require design work to be undertaken on a variety of projects, likely to include: • Scientific posters for conferences and events worldwide • Branding - e.g. top and tail screens for video content • Promotional leaflets, postcards, flyers and other materials • Additional content for in-situ resources, such as factsheets and reflection exercises • Infographics and icons The GEP will expect: Creative input and expertise; The production of high quality design work, to agreed deadlines; and The opportunity to make edits and changes. Please note: any design work commissioned under this contract will be the property of the GEP and will be used and distributed as the programme deems appropriate. It will be a requirement of the contract to provide original files, eg .ai, .indd, .psd.
