UKAS Pilot Assessment of Non-targeted Methods

We require the service of UKAS, our National Accreditation body, to assist the FSA in developing capability and assurance in UK laboratories to improve consistency and confidence in the reporting of non-targeted authenticity testing of food/feed. In order to assure the results from non-targeted methods, an innovative process is required to assess and accredit laboratory testing against conformity assessment requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and UKAS Lab 13 for expressing opinions and interpretations.
