Design and Fabrication of x3 Replacement Gantry Crane Operator Cabs

2. The Service 2.1 The Contractor shall provide the following service to the Client for the duration of the service period: 2.2 Design of x3 replacement gantry crane operator cabs 2.3 Fabrication of x3 cabs once design approved 2.4 Replacement/installation of x3 cabs once fabricated 2.5 Commissioning of x3 cabs once installed. 3 Specification/Requirements: 3.1 Replacement/installation of x3 cabs once fabricated 3.2 Cabs will be designed to fix to the existing crane structure as a direct replacement. 3.3 Cab Specification:- • Construction of 3 mm steel plate. • Internally reinforced with steel profiles and lined with 0.7 mm galvanized, plastisol-coated steel plate on walls and ceiling. • 250 mm raised floor for cable routing. • Steel plate floor covered with profiled rubber mat. • Walls and ceiling insulated with 45 mm mineral wool. • All windows made of 6 mm green tint toughened safety glass. • Floor window without tint • Incl. document holder and coat hook • Surface treatment - C3H 180 μm: • Entrance door with full window made of 6mm toughened safety glass, green tint • Additional glass in side and rear made of 6mm toughened glass, green-tinted • Terminal cabinet including door and mounting plate, L x W x H = 400x185x1800mm • Light fixture LED 16.8W, 230V, 50/60Hz • Light and socket • Air-con split system 230V, 50/60Hz • Cooling capacity 3,5 kW / 11942 BTU/h • Heating capacity 4,0 kW / 13648 BTU/h • Operating temperature -20°C til +46°C • Filter box consisting of HEPA dust filter, carbon filter, 2Kw heater and fan blower and 4 meter air hose • Operator seat SCS BL Fabric, complete • Mechanical Suspension • Joystick consoles 150x450mm • Padded arm rests • Vinyl head rest • Turntable, with lock • 2 pcs joystick's 4 steps in 4 directions • Push button grab operation • Push button for start and 1 pc. emergency stop • All mechanical mounted only 3.4 The contractor must supply: • Basic documentation • GA drawing • Electrical drawing • Spare parts list • Declaration of conformity • User manual • The documentation will be provided in pdf format 3.5 Scope of Supply: • Site survey • Project management • Design drawings • 3D Model • RAMS • Lift Plans • Manufacture - 3No Operator Cabs as specification • Access equipment - large scissor lift • Lifting equipment • Removal of old cab • Installation of new cab • Wiring integration to crane • Commissioning
